  • Drive Through Food Pantry - October 26th

    Our partners at Ballston Spa National Bank (BSNB), in cooperation with the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York is hosting its next drive-thru food pantry on Tuesday, October 26th, beginning at 9:00 a.m.

  • School Resource Officers Receive Recognition

    The Board of Education recently recognized our School Resource Officers for their dedicated service and commitment to the safety of the Ballston Spa School Community.

  • The BSCSD Fall Newsletter is now online...

    The latest copy of the district newsletter, The Reader, is now available online and will be mailed to area residents in the coming weeks. The newsletter contains a message from the Superintendent and BOE President, with the latest district information including new staff, accomplishments, new programs, athletics and upcoming events.

  • Scottie’s Closet Offers FREE Clothing

    The Middle School will host a Scottie’s Closet on Saturday, November 6, 2021 from 9 am to 1 pm. This school community event provides free gently used clothing, books, coats, and shoes annually to about 300 students, families and individuals.

  • Ballston Spa Welcomes New Employees 2021-22

    This past summer and early fall, the Ballston Spa Central School District welcomed over 60 new faculty and staff members to join in the ranks of professionals who are dedicated to serving our students in various roles and capacities. Our new employees bring rich backgrounds in a variety of disciplines, as well as a wealth of experience from neighboring districts and states.

  • Educator Awarded Teacher of the Year!

    “Mrs. Kinsey is a dedicated, child-centered educator that puts students’ needs at the forefront of her teaching,” indicated Principal Donald Brandt. He continued, “ We are pleased Mrs. Kinsey is receiving this award to recognize the positive impact she has made on so many children.”

  • Morley Literacy Award Presented to Students

    The 2021 award recipients include Quinn Dewey from Milton Terrace Elementary (shown in photo with MT teachers), Noah Fitzgerald from Gordon Creek Elementary, Zakkai McZeal from Wood Road Elementary, and Madison Denney from Malta Avenue Elementary.
