I hope that everyone is doing well and staying healthy. Thank you for all of your efforts in helping support your child’s education during this unprecedented and difficult time. With school-aged children of my own I can certainly understand some of the frustrations you may experience during this extended closure. But this is the definition of a team effort and I sincerely appreciate everything that you are doing at home. I will do my best not to overwhelm you with messages and will send a weekly update from here on out.

There has been a flurry of activities today related to the COVID-19 closure, the first of which came from the Board of Regents announcing that this year‘s Regents exams are cancelled and that changes will be forthcoming regarding how we will award units of credit to students in credit bearing courses. This was followed by the Governor announcing that our closure will now continue until April 29.
Free/Reduced Breakfasts and Lunches are available for students enrolled in the program. Parents or other family members may pick up at the Wood Road/Milton Terrace or High Schools. The elementary school Backpack Food Program will also continue during the school closure according to the same delivery methods/time.
