    Fire Prevention Month

Thank you to our local fire departments for visiting each of our elementary schools to share important fire safety information with our students.  As a follow up to the visits, our fire departments have shared some follow-up resources for families.

    Cellular devices

The use and ownership of cellular phones and smart watches has grown consistently over the last several years in our elementary schools.  With busy schedules before and after school, we recognize that some families have chosen to use these devices to stay in communication with one another.  For those families that do provide students with a phone or smart watch during the day, these devices need to be kept off and stored in their backpack during the school day to avoid any distraction and prevent misuse.
