3rd Grade Mission Statement
The Wood Road Elementary School serves our community with a respectful, challenging and nurturing educational environment that celebrates learning, individuality and shared decision making in the best interest of the children. The first step in fostering independence is unleashing responsibility to them as individuals, increasing expectations with organizing personal belongings and decision-making. Third graders will be expected to work independently. There are increasing academic expectations.
