Expectations

  • Gordon Creek’s Character Education Program has three basic expectations for students to:

    Be Safe

    Be Respectful

    Be Responsible

Your child will be explicitly taught the school-wide behavioral expectations beginning the first day of school. These lessons will highlight specific behavioral expectations in each area of the school including: instructional areas, hallways, cafeteria, recess, assemblies, bathrooms, and buses.

Students will be acknowledged for following these behavioral expectations throughout the school. Students following the “Three B’s” will receive Scottie Bucks, which will be awarded by all staff.  These “bucks” will accumulate and then students may use them to “purchase” a variety of items and/or activities on a bi-weekly basis.
