Welcome to my website!  If you are visiting my website, then I probably work with your child.  We work on various skills including: writing, solving unknown words, fast recognition of high frequency words, comprehension, reading with fluency and expression, and a variety of reading strategies. 

You're probably wondering how you can help your child at home?  Reading to your child is one of the most important things you can do to help your child be a successful reader.  Each day have your child read easy books to you, and read more challenging books to your child.  You are your child's best model for reading.  Your child will hear you read with expression and intonation and will then be excited to read the same way.  Plus, this is a great way to spend quality time together.
