Medical Excuses

- All medical notes must go to the nurse’s office FIRST.

- The nurse will provide documentation to bring to the appropriate Physical Education teacher.
- Each PE teacher will handle their medical excuses.
- Modified activity is recommended. Please have doctor record on the medical excuse what student is “able” to do. (EX: walk, upper body only, etc…). Student would receive full credit for class with modified participation.
- All medicals that say “NO PE” – students are unable to participate and will be expected to make up the classes once released from the doctor.
- Medicals over 6 weeks in length will be put on an independent study. Please speak to an appropriate Physical Education Teacher to discuss options that are available or click independent study program to the left of this screen.
