Welcome to the Ballston Spa High School Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA)!

Who?               
We are BSHS parents, grandparents, students, and staff - just like you!

What?              

We provide the following services and events that completely run on volunteer power:

•  School Pictures support (September)
•  9th Grade Breakfast of Champions (late November)
•  Reflections (early December judging)
•  Staff Appreciation Luncheon (January)       
•  After Prom Party (fundraising from local businesses starts in January;
  Prom night; 11pm-4am)
• Drive-In Movie Night (June)
• College Scholarships (application readers needed in early June)
•  SO Much more, as volunteer capacity allows!

When?             
Program work happens between official meetings. Membership meetings are Thursday,
October 5, February 7, and April 18, at 5pm. All are welcome to attend!

 High School Library 
        
Why?              
We care about our students and their years at Ballston Spa High School. We care about their
future. And we care about the parents and staff responsible for and inspiring our students.

We all know running events takes money. Yes, our volunteers fundraise and apply for and receive grant funding, and we also look to the BSpa community for membership! It’s important NYS PTA that there’s hundreds of thousands of members statewide when they advocate for
students.

We’ve made it easy:
1.  Go to https://bshsptsa.memberhub.store/shopping/items/5182   (note: $0.85 service fee
added by memberhub site)
2. Send a check made out to BSHS PTSA  ($10 each parent/caregiver/teacher/staff and $5/each
student - $4/member supports the NYSPTA) and a clearly written note with each member name,
phone number and email address in a sealed envelope (labeled "To BSHS PTSA") sent to BSHS
office – whether through USPS or drop-off, we will take it!
