9th & 10th Grade Student Project Exhibition
The Clean Technologies & Sustainable Industries Early College High School (Clean Tech ECHS) will host the final 9th and 10th Grade Student Project Exhibition for the school year on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 from 9 AM-10:00 AM. Families, teachers, school counselors, administrators, civic leaders, and partners in business, industry, higher education, and non-profit agencies are invited to come see our future leaders present their student projects addressing real world issues. Students will highlight, and reflect upon, the skills they have learned this year and share their goals for next year. You can also participate in the interactive 9th grade displays of their own original twist of a STEM activity.
The Clean Tech ECHS was developed by the Ballston Spa Central School District in partnership with Hudson Valley Community College (HVCC) and the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) in 2011. It now has over 50 partners from business and industry, higher education, and non-profit and government agencies. The Clean Tech ECHS was awarded a NYS P-TECH grant which expanded opportunities for students in the program to take college coursework in many career pathways: Clean Energy; Computer Science & Information Systems; Cybersecurity; Entrepreneurship, Leadership & Innovation; and Mechatronics.
The student project exhibition will be held at Hudson Valley Community College’s TEC-SMART at 345 Hermes Road in Malta, N.Y.
