  • BSMS Presents Matilda Jr. - Opens Tomorrow Night

    Ballston Spa Middle School's Launching Pad Productions is proud to present Matilda the Musical Jr. The students will present five performances, including February 9th, 10th and 11th at 7:00pm and February 11th & 12th at 1:00pm at the Ballston Spa High School.

    Dr. Gianleo Duca chosen as new Superintendent

    The Board of Education is pleased to announce Dr. Gianleo Duca as the new Superintendent of Schools. The Board looks forward to Dr. Duca partnering with students, staff, associations, parents and caregivers, and community members to fulfill the district’s mission to provide an excellent education that maximizes the potential of each student.

  • No One Walks Alone - Parent Info Night - Feb 15th

    Now on February 15, 2023 the district will host an evening program for parents focused on a personal and open discussion about depression, mental illness, and suicide; as well as how to speak about it with the youth in our school community.

    School Resource Officer Deputy Jonathan R. Becker recently announced his intentions to begin a new role with the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Department as an Investigator after five years with the district.

    BSNB Recognized for Support of Robotics Program

    The District has once again received generous support from Ballston Spa National Bank to fund the High School Robotics Team’s participation in the annual US FIRST Robotics competition.

  • BSCSD Bus Shortages TODAY - February 6, 2023

    We currently have two bus routes that cannot be covered on Monday, February 6, 2023. Buses #377 Dinosaur and #383 Raccoon are not available this morning or afternoon for both High/Middle School students.

  • BSHS to host Science Olympiad Tournament

    We will be hosting the Capital Region Science Olympiad Tournament on February 4, 2023. Although many of the events involve tests taken in a classroom, the cafeteria and gym will be host to several build events that are fun to watch (bridge, plane, catapult and gravity powered cars).

  • BSMS Teens Share Ideas with the Mayor

    An 8th grade student in Mr. Chris McNulty's ELA class at Ballston Spa Middle School (BSMS) recently wrote a letter to the Village of Ballston Spa Mayor addressing the needs for more adolescent activities and gathering spaces in the Village prompting a meeting and sharing of ideas.

  • School Groups Awarded GF-Malta Grants

    Ballston Spa schools were among the community organizations selected to receive funding from the GLOBALFOUNDRIES - Town of Malta Foundation as they announced their awards for 2022. The grant awards included $18,000 for several Ballston Spa Central School District projects and programs.
