  • Board of Education Hosts 2021-22 Budget Hearing

    All staffing and student programming maintained, little to no impact anticipated on tax bills. The annual statewide School Budget Vote and Board of Education Elections will be held on May 18, 2021 from 7:00 am – 9:00 pm. District residents vote at Ballston Spa High School (residents of the Towns of Ballston, Milton and Charlton) and the Malta Town Hall (residents of Malta).

  • District Receives Support from Malta Food Fest

    The Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce recently presented the Ballston Spa Central School District with a check for $6,910.39 in proceeds generated from this year’s Malta Food Fest.

  • Get Ready for the Annual Scotties Stampede 5k!

    Everyone in the Ballston Spa school community is invited to join together for our annual 5k for Education Walk/Run, the Scotties Stampede. It will be held on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at 9:00 am, starting at the district’s tennis courts on Garrett Road.

  • Drive Through Food Pantry - May 10, 2021

    The next FREE food distribution will be held on May 10, 2021 starting at 9:30am at the Ballston Spa National Bank (BSNB) at 990 State Route 67, Ballston Spa. All families/community members are invited to enter the parking lot and remain in their cars while volunteers load FREE food/supplies into their car.

    The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Safety Unit is busy this week reminding drivers of the traffic safety laws specifically in the school zones surrounding the district’s three campuses.

  • FREE Meals for all BSpa students

    Our food service continues to prepare FREE meals for all students in the district- for both in-school students and remote learners. Families of remote learners are able to pick up at Gordon Creek Elementary School twice a week.

  • COVID-19 Student Vaccination Opportunities - April 29 and 30, 2021

    Saratoga County Public Health Services (SCPHS) will be holding COVID-19 vaccination clinics on Thursday, April 29, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM and Friday, April 30, from 12:30 PM TO 3:30 PM. Both clinics will be held at 6012 County Farm Road in Ballston Spa.

    Saratoga County Public Health Services (SCPHS) will be holding a COVID-19 vaccination clinic on Friday, April 23, 2021, from 9am-3:30pm. Pfizer vaccine will be administered, which is currently authorized for use on individuals 16 years of age and older.

  • Scotties BackPack Program Continues to Grow

    The program provides easy-to-prepare food for the weekend to nearly 190 elementary students who may otherwise go without. The revenue to support the program is raised entirely by individual and corporate donations.
