It is important to continue being a visual artist while also an art educator!

My paintings are inspired by the landscape of the English garden and the possibility of spacial relationships between flora within. Over the years I have shared the process of my work to allow students to see how their teacher approaches visual problem solving. To see that all artists, including their teacher, must research and plan as well to create original pieces that express a given idea.
